Firstly, I wish you a very Happy New Year.
I refer to my announcement on the 29th December 2005 on the action group website.
I had hoped to be in a position to write to you on various JAG/Just Group related matters within seven days of that announcement. However, an unexpected and significant development has had to be addressed in the first instance.
I am very conscious of the need of many shareholders for pertinent information, in view of what we have had to endure in the last four to five years.
I believe that you will agree given the mistrust which has been generated by events and by the board after I departed from the Company, it is now fundamental to ensure, that you can rely fully on the information to be provided. I am only interested in stating the facts, substantiated by evidence in my possession and/or that of my lawyers. To that end, additional information has had to be verified. I will issue a statement within 48 hours.
